Wolf Creek Ski Mountaineering Race presented by Pine Needle Mountaineering

Start time 8 am @ Wolf Creek Ski Area

Entry Fee of $65 includes LIFT TICKET, pre-registration HERE

Race Category Course is 5 climbs and +/- 5,000 ft. of vertical

Race Mandatory Gear: Skis/skins/helmet/pack/beacon/shovel/probe

Recreation Category Course is 3 climbs and +/- 2,500 ft. of vertical

Rec Mandatory Gear: Skis/skins/helmet

COURSE MAPS: Race course moves from map 1 - 2 - 3. Rec course is on Map 1 and 2, note Rec course goes to finish from the Alberta Park transition. Yes, both races end with a climb!

Walk-up registration and number pick-up will be available at Pine Needle in Durango on Friday 9am - 4pm and  Chapman Hill 4pm to 6 pm; day of registration and number pickup will be available in the PROSPECTER LODGE (just up the hill and behind the ticket office).

The start/finish area will be obvious just to the East of the ticket office at the edge of the parking lot. Park closer to the Start/Finish than the lodge if possible. Racers are strongly encouraged to pre-register (and race) the Friday night before in Durango at Chapman Hill.

Wolf Creek means powder skiing in December so plan on making a day of it and hitting the pow after the race.
